Our Opportunities

Sea cadets train on a weekly basis in our home location and can apply to attend summer training and other fun, free opportunities like international exchanges and working onboard ships, and in some cases get paid while attending.

We have experienced, qualified instructors who lead our cadets and allow our young people to meet their potential in a safe, positive environment, letting them make new friends and try new activities while developing confidence and citizenship. All of our instructors have undergone extensive training and criminal record checks.

Summer Training is not a required component of the cadet program, it is optional and all cadets are encouraged to apply. Summer Training Camps are a great way for you to learn new skills, improve on the skills you have learned during the training year and to make new friendships. Cadets will be paid $60 per training week.

Successful cadets will be notified in early spring if they have been selected for a camp.
